Enraged twitterati lash out at govt, demand to #ReduceCNICFee
CNIC was earlier Rs 200 which has been raised to Rs 1000.
(Web Desk) - National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has recently increased the fee on making a duplicate Green National Identity Card (CNIC) by 5 percent.
According to NADRA officials, the fee on Smart Card processing has not been increased however, the fee for duplicate Green CNIC was earlier Rs 200 which has been raised to Rs 1000.
Twitterati have taken to the social media platform to denounce this step of administration and urged the authorities to at least reduce the price of CNIC by trending #ReduceCNICFee.
