Met Office predicts further extremity in Monsoons in Punjab and KP during the next 2 days

KARACHI, LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Second wave of heat is going to hit Karachi from July 16 while the Met Office has predicted extremity in the Monsoons during the next 2 days in most areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP), reported Dunya News.

PDMA Sindh has warned on Friday that the temperature may rise up to 40 degrees Celsius. Prospects of artificial rain and its expenditure have been taken into account.

On the other hand, monsoon rains continue in Punjab, Azad Kashmir and KP. Overcast conditions were observed in Lahore throughout the day while slight drizzling was also observed in some of the areas.

The weather remained pleasant in Gujranwala as well. Moreover, heavy showers were observed in Sialkot, Faisalabad, Kasoor, Daska, Mianwali, Kundiyan, Malakand and Bannu.

Met Office has predicted heavy rains in most areas of Islamabad, Punjab, Azad Kashmir and KP whereas showers can also be expected in some areas of Upper Sindh and Balochistan.
