UN should ensure implementation of Kashmir resolutions: Nawaz Sharif
PM met Ban Ki Moon and stressed that the UN must play its role in getting resolutions implemented
DUSHANBE: (Dunya News) – Prime Minister has on Tuesday stressed upon implementation of the United Nations (UN) resolutions on Kashmir. He told Secretary General UN Ban Ki Moon that UN must play its role in getting its resolutions implemented as soon as possible, reported Dunya News.
While meeting UN Secretary General today in Tajik capital, PM said that UN must get its resolutions on Kashmir implemented because implementation is the duty of UN Security Council.
PM told Ban Ki Moon that India did not respond positively to Pakistan’s attempt to restore negotiations. He said that he invited Afghanistan, India and other neighboring countries for peace. He said that peaceful relations with the neighboring countries have always been the cornerstone of Pakistan’s foreign policy.
