Peaceful neighborhood cornerstone of Pakistan's foreign policy: Nawaz
PM met UN Secretary General, told him that Pakistan will continue to help UN maintain peace
DUSHANBE: (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has on Tuesday told United Nations (UN) Secretary General Ban Ki Moon that peaceful neighborhood has always been the cornerstone of Pakistan’s foreign policy. He said that Pakistan will continue to help the UN in maintaining peace, reported Dunya News.
While meeting Ban Ki Moon in Tajik capital today, PM said that Pakistan has strong and steady relations with the UN. He said that the UN’s role is appreciable in promoting peace and development. He said that Pakistan will always help the UN.
Prime Minister said that Pakistan has always played a critical role in UN’s peace missions and will continue to do the same in future as well.
