One killed as Rangers foil attempt to smuggle alcohol through Wagah Border
The deceaseds body has been shifted to the morgue for further legal investigation.
LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – At least one suspect was killed while his other accomplices fled the scene as Rangers foiled an attempt of smuggling alcohol to India through Wagah Border, Daily Dunya reported on Monday.
As per details, an exchange of firing between Rangers personnel and smugglers was carried out at Wagah Border when the felons tried to smuggle as many as 48 wine bottles to India. As a result of which one criminal lost his life.
The deceased’s body has been shifted to the morgue for further legal investigation.
