Elections to take place on June 8: Chief Election Commissioner Gilgit Baltistan
Election tribunal will scrutinize nomination papers from 5 to 15 May
GILGIT (Dunya News) – Chief Election Commissioner Gilgit Baltistan on Tuesday announced the schedule of elections of Gilgit-Baltistan legislative assembly. Nomination papers can be filed by candidates from April 26, reported Dunya News.
Chief Commissioner Gilgit-Baltistan Justice (R) Tahir Ali Shah announced election schedule according to which nomination papers can be filed from 26 to 27 April.
The process of collection of nomination papers will take place from 28 April to May 8.
Election tribunal will scrutinize nomination papers from 5 to 15 May.
Final list of candidates will be displayed on May 17 while the polling for 24 seats of legislative assembly will take place on June 8.
