ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued notices to the President and the Prime Minister (PM) along with seven others to submit replies within 15 days regarding the petition seeking establishment of judicial commission to determine death row convict Shafqat Hussain’s age.

The IHC held hearing of the plea regarding the formation of a judicial commission to determine Hussain’s age and ordered the officials concerned to submit reply in the matter within as many as 15 days.

According to the details, Justice Athar Minallah held hearing of the petition seeking establishment of a judicial commission to determine Hussain’s age.

The petition urges the court to hold inquiry of torture on the inmate declaring the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) report unsatisfactory.

The court has issued notices to the PM, President and seven other officials concerned to submit their replies in the matter within 15 days.
