Turbat firing: FIR registered, initial report sent to PM
A joint investigation team (JIT) has also been made to probe the incident.
TURBAT (Dunya News) – Interior Minister of Balochistan has forwarded an initial report to the Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on the firing incident of Turbat that claimed lives of as many as 20 laborers, Dunya News reported on Sunday.
As per details, police have also filed an FIR against the chief of banned outfit Balochistan Liberation Front and Spokesman Gahram Baloch at Turbat City police station whereas on the orders of Chief Minister of Balochistan (CM), a joint investigation team (JIT) has also been made to probe the incident.
Taking notice of the incident, CM Balochistan has made JIT comprising of Col Shahid Mahmood, DIG Police Makran Moazzam Jah, Commissioner Makran Aslam Khan and others whereas at least eight personnel of Levies force have also been taken into custody over their negligence.
