Karachi: Lawyers lock down treasury dept of City Court
Narcotics court should replace the City Court, demands bar president
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The lawyers on Monday have locked down the treasury department in the City Court demanding the establishment of narcotics court there.
The lawyers in the leadership of Karachi bar president Naeem Qureshi circled the treasury department of the City Court. They barred the staffers of the department from entering the offices.
The bar president said that the department should be shifted somewhere else and narcotics court be established there.
However, the Station House Officer (SHO) of the City Police Station reviewed the situation and informed the higher authorities of the matter.
