D.G. Khan: Wapda suspends power supply to TMA for not paying bill
The protesters appealed to CM Punjab to restore water supply as early as possible.
DERA GHAZI KHAN (Dunya News) – Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) officials on Tuesday have suspended electricity connection of Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) for not paying Rs2 crore electricity bill, creating water scarcity in the metropolis.
While giving up the patience, residents staged a protest against TMA for not paying electricity bill of Rs2 crores as they are facing difficulties due to disrupted water supply.
The protesters further appealed to the Chief Minsiter of Punjab (CM) Shahbaz Sharif to restore water supply as early as possible.
