PM Nawaz felicitates Rabbani over Senate chairmanship
Nawaz Sharif termed appointment of Rabbani as positive step for democracy.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Thursday has congratulated Raza Rabbani on becoming Senate chairman, Dunya News reported.
PM Nawaz has also appointed Iqbal Zafar Jhagra as parliamentary leader in Senate and Zafar-ul-Haq as leader of the house.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) believes in politics of reconciliation and negotiations , he expressed.
Nawaz Sharif further added that unanimous selection of chairman Senate would strengthen democracy as all the parties are united on one platform.
