Scuffle breaks out in Faisalabad session court
Police did not arrest any lawyer for causing ruckus in the court premises.
FAISALABAD (Web Desk) – Scuffle between the lawyers and murder accused broke out in Faisalabad’s session court on Thursday, Dunya News reported.
The murder accused were presented before Additional Session Judge Azizullah s court.
The situation turned violent when the accused exchanged harsh words with lawyers of the opposition party. Agitated lawyers thrashed the suspects and their lawyers within court premises.
Meanwhile, angry lawyers also hurled stones and abused media teams present in the court. A heavy contingent of police personnel arrived at the scene to control the situation.
Police constable Asif and other two persons identified as Ghulam Murtaza and Shaukat sustained injuries during the clash. They were shifted to nearby hospital.
Reportedly, four civilians were arrested but no lawyer has been arrested for the violence.
