Rawalpindi: COAS meets CENTCOM commander
General Austin laid flowers at the monument of martyrs
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Monday met United States Central Command (CENTCOM) commander General Austin at the General Headquarters (GHQ).
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Austin admired the sacrifices of the soldiers of the Pakistan Army for their struggles to counter terrorism. He also lauded the successes of the Operation Zarb-e-Azb of the Pakistan Army.
Moreover, General Austin laid flowers at the monument of martyrs.
He also met Minister for Defense Khawaja Asif and discussed the security situation of the region along with counter-terrorism strategies.
