Imran Khan is a sentimental person and could take any decision, says Shah

SUKKUR (Dunya News) – Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Khurshid Shah on Saturday has said that they took the “bitter pill” of establishment of military courts for the sake of the protection of the country and the nation. He said that the federal government would send the cases for trials in military courts and not the provincial governments.

He expressed these views while talking to the media in the press club.

He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan is a sentimental person and could take any decision. He responded to the statement of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari saying that the political parties of the country agreed upon the 21st Amendment in the Constitution because otherwise they would continue to hold vigils in remembrance of the martyrs.

He also said that the people responsible for assisting Tehrik-i-Taliban (TTP) were also discussed in the All APrties Conference (APC). He expected the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) to take action against those people and also punish the people who fund terror acts and banned outfits.
