Process of establishment of military courts initiated: ISPR

The hearing of the terrorism-related cases would be shifted to these courts for speedy trials

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – The process of the establishment of the military courts has been initiated after the approval of 21st Amendment in the Constitution and the Army Act Amendment.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), at least nine military courts would be established in the first phase of the process.

Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) would have as any as three military courts each. Sindh would have two military courts while one court would be established in Balochistan, according to the ISPR.

The hearing of the terrorism-related cases would be shifted to these courts for speedy trials.

According to the ISPR, military courts would be established soon.
