The filtration plant will provide potable water to at least 80 villages, reportedly

MITHI (Dunya News) – Former president Asif Ali Zardari on Wednesday has inaugurated Asia’s largest water filtration plant that will provide potable water to at least 80 villages.

According to the details, Zardari’s daughter Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari accompanied him to the inaugural ceremony.

Provincial minister Sharjeel Memon received the former president and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman. Zardari inaugurated the Reverse Osmosis (RO) filtration plant and drank the purified water following his daughter.

Reportedly, more plants would be established in Tharparkar for the supply of potable water to the affected people.

Chief Minister (CM) Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Rubina Qaim Khani, Murad Ali Shah and other were present at the inaugural ceremony.
