Two new polio cases surface in Quetta
Anti-polio campaign on emergency basis initiates in Nasirabad and Killa Abdullah.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – At least two more polio cases have been registered in Nasirabad District and Killa Abdullah District in Balochistan on Thursday mounting the count to 19 in the province.
Surfacing of polio cases despite province’s tall claims has led to the announcement of initiation of anti-polio campaign on emergency basis in both districts.
At least 5 polio cases emerged in Quetta in addition to one case each in Killa Abdullah, Zob, Khizdar and Nasirabad District whereas Killa Abdullah witnessed 10 polio cases, which is the most in the province.
