Peshawar attack: Lawyers boycott courts, raise black flag
A complete strike has been observed at Peshawar High Court, Islamabad High Court and District Bars.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – The Peshawar incident gloomed every part of the country as lawyers all over the country have mourned over the brutal killings of school children by boycotting the courts on Wednesday.
Sources reported that a complete strike has been observed at Peshawar High Court, Islamabad High Court and District Bars as lawyers didn’t went to the courts and recorded their protest over the Peshawar attack.
Further, on the appeal of Pakistan Bar Council, the Sindh High Court Bar, Karachi Bar and Malir Bar have been closed as well suspending the hearings of different cases.
The lawyers raised the ‘black flag’ over the buildings of Sukkur High Court and Session Court.
Showing the solidarity with the martyrs of Peshawar attack, the lawyers in various areas including Dera Ismail Khan (DIk), Faisalabad, Multan, Mandi Bhauddin, Hafizabad and Okara have carried out strike whereas special prayers have also been offered for the peace of martyred souls.
