Rawalpindi: ATC declares Dr Qadri wanted in Lilla Interchnage strife
The special court ordered to submit Dr Qadris properties details
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Judge Abdul Qayyum Khan on Monday has given a verdict in the Lilla Interchange strife and declared Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri wanted.
Judge Khan held a hearing of the case and gave a verdict today.
According to the details, the police told the court that upon the directives of Dr Qadri, the PAT workers demonstrated a strife at the Lela Interchange on June 23.
Moreover, they burned down many police vehicles, injured dozens of police officers.
According to the police, they tried to catch the PAT chief but they failed thus the court, acting upon the petition by the police declared him wanted.
The special court also ordered to submit Dr Qadri’s properties’ details.
Furthermore, the court ordered bail of as many as 76 PAT workers against the payment of Rs 1 lac each and rejected the bails of at least ten workers.
