Bugti case: Musharraf given one day exemption from court

Court has ordered DG Health to present Musharraf's health report.

QUETTA (Dunya News)— Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Quetta has granted one day exemption to former military ruler Pervez Musharraf from the hearing of Akbar Bugti murder case, Dunya News reported.

Judge Nazir Ahmed of ATC Quetta heard the murder case of Nawab Akbar Bugti. During the hearing, Musharraf’s counsel Zeeshan Cheema told the court that Musharraf couldn’t appear in the court because of his poor health. Therefore, he should be granted an exemption from the court, he demanded.

The court reacted against not presenting Musharraf’s health report in the court. Court also ordered DG Health to form a joint medical board to present the health report of Musharraf.

Former Federal Interior Minister Aftab Ahmed Sherpao, Former Provincial Interior Minister Shoaib Nowsherwani, two guarantors of Musharraf Mumtaz Hussain and Nazir Ahmed also appeared before the court during the hearing. The case hearing was delayed until next month.
