Countrywide protests if killers of Bau Anwar not arrested: Altaf
People across the country will lodge strong protest against this brutal killing, the MQM chief said.
LONDON (Web Desk) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has said that his party reserved the right to protest if the federal government and the provincial government of Punjab did not take notice of the killing of vice-president of MQM in Sialkot.
He warned that the entire country would be rocked with protest demonstrations if the people showed their emotions on this injustice. He said that the federal government and the Punjab government would be responsible for the outpouring of public emotions.
Altaf Hussain Hussain said, “Police was present at the distance of a few steps when the terrorists fired on Bau Muhammad Anwar but they stood as silent spectators and did nothing.”
“Where is Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif? Where is Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and where is Rana Sanaullah?”
He asked why the killer were not arrested so far.
He said that over 400 workers of MQM have been killed in the past two years but most of the television channels did not give proper coverage of the Martyrs Day programme of the MQM. He said the media should treat all equally.
Altaf Hussain demanded the federal government and the provincial government to ensure that the killers of Bau Muhammad Anwar are arrested immediately failing which people across the country will lodge strong protest against this brutal killing.
