Imran Khan uses Pakhtoons to increase his vote bank: Asfandyar wali

We will not let Imran Khan be a political martyr, says Wali

NOWSHERA (Dunya News) – Awami National Party (ANP) leader Asfandyar Wali on Thursday has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran khan uses Pakhtoons to increase his vote bank in Punjab while Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif uses them to save it.

He expressed these views while while addressing the party convention of ANP in Nowshera.

He said that ANP has now come forward and they would not let anyone use Pakhtoons for their personal benefits.

Wali said that if anyone would try to change the 18th amendment then the Constitution of Pakistan would not be safe anymore.

He criticised Khan for ignoring Internally Displaced Persons’ (IDPs) issue for being too busy in sit-ins and his "container politics" in Islamabad.

“I am not afraid of Imran Khan. I just respect the mandate given to him with the help of Hakimullah Mehsud”, he added.

He further said that when Khan was busy in his election campaign in 2013, ANP leaders were being killed every other day.

ANP do not want to see Khan as a political martyr until he fulfils his promises with Pakhtoons, he added.
