Sindh govt is committing criminal negligence over Tharparkar drought: MQM
Whole Sindh will turn into Thar if govt continues to function the same way, said Pir Pagara
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Raabta Committee’s Deputy Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui on Thursday alleged that the Sindh government is acting with ‘criminal negligence’ on the matter of Tharparkar drought. Pakistan Muslim League Functional (PML-F) chief Pir Pagara said that whole Sindh would become Thar if the provincial government continues the way it is functioning, Dunya News reported.
According to the details, MQM’s delegate headed by Deputy Convener met Pir Pagara at Raja House. Talking to the media after the meeting, Siddiqui said that the condition of Thar is so grave that the affectees cannot do anything.
He alleged that Sindh government committed ‘criminal negligence’ in relief work. He said the people of Thar were fed mud in bags of wheat.
Pir Pagara said that the whole Sindh will turn into Tharparkar if the provincial government continues to function the same way.
He said the condition of law and order of Sindh is in front of everyone while alleging that Sindh including Shikarpur faces complete destruction.
Pagara said that the demand of creation of Siraiki and Bahawalpur provinces be accepted. He said no one goes out after sun sets in Sindh because of fear.
