PTI all set for Rahim Yar Khan public meeting

RAHIM YAR KHAN (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) is all set to exercise its political power today (Sunday) at Khwaja Fareed College Ground in Rahim Yar Khan, Dunya News reported.

25 feet high and 40 feet long stage has been raised for party s key leadership. 

Trucks carrying 20,000 chairs for participants were set at the venue.

Passionate PTI workers reached the venue at night to complete preparations as soon as possible whereas the venue has been adorned with PTI posters, banners, flags and flexes having pictures of PTI leaders.

1500 police officers have been deployed at the venue to ensure security arrangements whereas barbed wires have been put along the sides of stage.

According to details, Chairman PTI Imran Khan will disclose the strategy to continue sit-in and schedule for further rallies in Sunday’s meeting.

Workers have complained that the administration has blocked the roads heading to venue due to which they are facing hardships.

Earlier, the local administration banned to hold a public gathering in the area as the venue is surrounded by central jail and offices of intelligence agencies.
