Processions will be monitored by CCTV cameras and SMS system during 9, 10 Muharram

FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Water and Power, Abid Sher Ali has reviewed the arrangements of law and order for Muharram-ul-Haraam at Circuit House Faisalabad on Sunday.
While addressing to press conference, Abid Sher Ali said that security arrangements for the month of Muharram have all been completed. Control rooms have been set up to monitor processions while; processions will also be scrutinized by SMS system. He vowed that there will be no load shedding on the routes of processions and gatherings including highly sensitive areas.
Abid Sher Ali has appealed Law Enforcement Agencies to perform their duty for ensuring the situation of law and order in Metropolis and requested Chairman Sunni Ithehad Concil (SIC), Sahibzada Hamid Raza not to do politics on the occasion of Muharram-ul-Haraam, if he is having any concerns; it will be sorted out.
He further requested Imran Khan to defer his sit-in during Muharram-ul-Haraam and hoped that Allah guides him to stop sit-in, but there is less hope.
