ANP worker killed, 2 injured in firing, cracker attack in Karachi
Workers wrapped up protest outside CM house after Sindh government's assurance to arrest culprits.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – One Awami National Party (ANP) worker got killed and two injured as a result of firing and cracker attack hurled at ANP workers by armed undefined persons in Mominabad Karachi on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
SSP West said raids are being extensively conducted in order to arrest the culprits.
Workers of ANP led by Bashir Jan staged a protest by placing the body of the deceased outside the chief minister’s house and announced to continue the protest till the culprits get arrested. However, on the assurance given by the Sindh government, workers wrapped up the protest.
The relevant Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) and Station House Officer (SHO) have been readily suspended.
