1 received bullet as workers brawl at PTI gathering
The fight started on seating arrangement on the stage and ended in a bullet injury to a worker.
RAHIM YAR KAHN: (Dunya News) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) public meeting in Rahim Yar Khan was attended by the Vice Chairman of PTI Shah Mehmood Qureshi today (Thursday). While the Vice Chairman addressed the attendants, two groups of the party got into a brawl with each other on the seating arrangement issue.
According to the sources, Shah Mehmmod Qureshi was addressing the gathering when two groups, each in pursuit of a prominent seat on the stage, started to fight. While the issue initially started from a simple fight, it later turned into a big clash as the two sides shot bullets at each other and one of the attendants got injured as well.
Both groups tried their fists on each other and even chairs were not spared by the fighters. As the situation worsened, Shah Mehmood Qureshi was shifted to a local leader’s house but outraged workers went out of control and arrived at the house of the leader where the Vice Chairman PTI was staying.
On finding the doors closed the workers went livid and started firing in the air. After a short spell of firing, the workers broke into the leader’s house but dispersed after meeting Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
