Violence grips Karachi again, eight people gunned down in different areas

KARACHI (Web Desk) - Tension has gripped the port city as fresh spate of violence in the metropolis claimed eight more lives during last few hours, Dunya News reported on Tuesday.

Two brothers were critically injured in gun attack near Football Chowrangi in Orangi Town. They were shifted to hospital but could not survive.

The victims identified as Amin and Amaan were workers of Sunni Tehreek.

Two bullet-riddled bodies were found in Rizviya Society. The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

Another person was killed in gun attack in Khyberabad area of Orangi Town.

Separately, a woman was shot dead in Lyari’s Bahar Colony.

Some unidentified attackers barged into the house of prayer leader Qari Barkat in Manghopir and stabbed him to death.

It may be mentioned here that sixteen people have lost their lives in Karachi during last 24 hours.
