PML-Q sides with Imran Khan for overhaul of ECP

Imran Khan presented 9-point charter of demands that aims to make the election process transparent.

LAHORE (Web Desk) - Pakistan Muslim League-Qauid (PML-Q) on Monday formally announced its support for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf chief (PTI) Imran Khan’s demand seeking reconstitution of Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) into a strong and independent institution, Dunya News reported.
PML-Q leadership has directed its parliamentary party to raise issue in Senate and the National Assembly.
“Dream of transparent elections is not possible without an impartial election commission,” Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said.
