ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Interior Minister Pervaiz Rahid has said that the government would address concerns of Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

Responding to a question, the information minister said that the government and Pakistan Army are on same page over all matters.

It is pertinent to mention here that Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) announced stepping down from government coalition last Friday.

Spokesman of JUI-F Jan Achakzai said that it is difficult to work together with government until policy disagreements are resolved,

In a Twitter post from London, Jan Achakzai said that there’s a deadlock with government over policy matters and that it is difficult to work together with government until the deadlock is resolved.

He said that Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) led government did not take coalition partners into confidence over National Security Policy and Taliban negotiations.

This is why, he said, party members submitted resignations upon direction from party chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

JUI-F had join federal government coalition in January this year, securing two ministries and Kashmir Committee chairmanship.
