ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Justice Riaz Ahmad Khan of Islamabad High Court heard Muhammad Arif disappearance case on Wednesday.

In his remarks, Justice Riaz Ahmad said that the courts should not be ridiculed.

Colonel Fayaz Ahmad of ISI appeared before the court and submitted an affidavit regarding disappearance of Muhammad Arif. It was mentioned in the affidavit the Muhammad Arif was not in ISI detention.

A sealed report by the intelligence agency regarding the case was also submitted in the court that returned it after reading.
The apex court admitted the plea seeking exemption of DG ISI form appearance in the court.

The court said that a commission was working for the recovery of the missing persons and while this issue also needs to be investigated.

The court disposed off the petition as the matter was being handled by the commission.
