SC orders to present seven missing persons on March 3

Report about 35 missing persons has been submitted to the Supreme Court bench.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Two-member bench of Supreme Court headed by Justice Jawad S Khawaja resumed the hearing of missing persons case on Tuesday.

Advocate General Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa submittedthe report about 35 missing persons.

According to the report, around 400 Pakistanis were detained in the jails of Afghanistan while 11 out of 35 missing persons were also expected to be there.

The court was also informed that terrorists including Fazlullah and Faqir Muhammad were there in Afghanistan.

The report said that those released from the detention centers later joined militants and were involved in attacks on security forces.

It was also mentioned in the report that seven persons were detected and two of them were in detention centre in Malakand.

Justice Jawad S, Khawaja in his remarks said that no one in this country is above the law.  “We do not have those options that the government can exercise as the court has to follow the Constitution”, he remarked.

Justice Jawad S Khawaja said that the difficult situation cannot be denied but the Constitution presents the solution.

The court adjourned the hearing of 35 missing persons case till Monday.
