Mastung blast victims buried amid tight security

Hazara community was mourning the killing of 29 people in a suicide attack on pilgrims bus.

QUETTA (Dunya News) - The funeral prayers of victims of Mastung tragedy was offered on Friday. A large number of people attended the funeral prayers.

Some engraged people chanted slogan against the government and demanded immediate arrest of the culprits.
Tight security arrangements were made on this occasion with surveillance helicopters.

Four dead bodies were buried in Hazara Town graveyard while the remaining were buried in Bahisht-e-Zainab graveyard.

The mourners of Tuesday s Mastung tragedy belonging to Hazara community announced end their sit-in in Quetta Thursday after assurance by the federal government to bring perpetrators of the blast to justice.

Federal ministers Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Pervaiz Rashid visited the provincial capital on the directives of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to express solidarity with grieved families.

It may be recalled that the Hazara community was mourning the killing of 29 people in a suicide attack on a bus carrying Zaireen (pilgrims) in Dareen Garh area of Mastung district on Tuesday last. They staged countrywide sit-ins to press for their demand for action against those involved in the Mastung blast.
