SC rejects DG FCs report on missing person

The SC ordered FC to produce missing person Mustafa Azam before it on August 22.

 

ISLAMABAD (Online) - Supreme Court has rejected the report from Inspector General FC in case of missing person Mustafa Azam and directed him to produce him before it on August 22 or the court will give its own decision on this count.

 

The Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry remarked, “FC officers don’t know decorum how to appear in the court. How can they appear in the court by wearing half sleeved shirt.”

 

CJP gave these remarks during the course of hearing of missing person case Monday.

 

Additional Attorney General Tariq Khokhar and Amna Masud Janjua appeared in the court at the inception of hearing of the case.

 

Sajjad Ahmad case was heard. The court inquired if someone recognizes the police officer who had handed over the young man. Sindh Police told FC had taken away the young man.

 

FIR was lodged in respect of Mustafa Azam. When blast had taken place in Hayat Abad, Peshawar, this person was arrested, He was held by FC and when investigation was made it was revealed that he was student of first year and he was living in a hotel in the meantime. Sindh police was investigating against him in a case. In the mean time he was arrested in bomb blast incident in Peshawar.
