Rajanpur: Roof collapse kills 7 of a family
At least seven people were killed when the roof of a house collapsed in Rajanpur on Thursday night.
RAJANPUR (Dunya News) – According to details, roof of a house in Lashari village near Rajanpur collapsed due to heavy rain during night between Thursday and Friday, burying 14 people of the same family under the debris.
Rescue teams reached the spot and started rescue operation which lasted for four hours. At least seven members of the family were killed and five were rescued in injured condition while the remaining two members of the ill-fated family remained unhurt.
Those who died were identified as Rabnawaz, his wife Aziz Mai, their sons Zahid, Asif, Adnan, Imran and daughter Naseem.
Five members of the family were critically injured in the incident and were shifted to Rajanpur Hospital for treatment.
