Ex-PM Gilani refutes rumours of joining PML-N

MULTAN - Former Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has rebutted news regarding his joining the ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), Dunya News reported on Friday.

 

While addressing lawyers in High Court Bar Multan, Yousaf Raza Gilani clarified that he has no differences with President Asif Ali Zardari and news regarding his meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif is false.

 

Gilani served as the 16th Prime minister of Pakistan from 25 March 2008 until his disqualification and ouster by the Supreme Court of Pakistan on 26 April 2012.

 

He had also resigned from senior vice chairmanship of the Pakistan People s Party on May 13, accepting unsatisfactory performance of the party in general elections 2013.
