Lawyers boycott court proceedings
The strike has been done on the call of Punjab Bar Council.
LAHORE (Dunya News): Punjab Bar Council vice chairman Tahir Nasrullah Waraech has appealed the lawyers community to go on strike after the convoy of Sindh High Court justice Maqbool Baqir was hit in a suicide attack.
According to joint announcement, lawyers have demanded to take action against the men responsible for planning suicide attack on the convoy of acting Chief Justice of Sindh Hight Court.
Following the appeal of Punjab Bar Council, lower courts across the Punjab also have gone on strike against the attack on senior and honorable justice.
It is worthy of note that all the lower courts in Lahore have announced to go on strike due to which more than 10,000 cases could not be heard and remained pending.
