Missing persons' commission recommends cases against agencies
Recovery of missing persons has become a real challenge for the newly elected government.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News):-National Commission for missing persons has recommended to file criminal cases against on duty officials of police, secret agencies and FC.
The commission headed by Justice (rtd) Javed Iqbal has prepared final report comprising 400 pages regarding missing persons and directed the interior and defence ministries to lodge criminal cases against officials of secret agencies, police and FC.
According to fact and figures collected by the report, about 415 out of more than one thousand have been recovered and handed over to their heirs.
The report will be submitted to the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the end of the current month.
