Karachi lawyers go on strike
Lawyers have boycotted court proceedings due to attack on their colleagues residence in Sukkur.
KARACHI (Dunya News):-While showing their resentment over attack on Sukkur Bar Association president Qurban Malanun’s home on Wednesday, lawyers boycotted the court proceedings. City, Malir and other lower courts remained closed as a protest.
On the request of Sindh High Court Bar Association’s representatives, Sindh High Court also postponed hearing of all case.
Due to boycott, prisoners could not be presented in the courts. On the other hand, clients also had to face tremendous problems regarding their cases.
