Karachi violence claims 10 more lives

At least 10 people were killed in target killing incidents in different parts of Karachi.

 

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police and Rangers failed to curb target killing incidents in Karachi as 10 more people were shot dead on Saturday.

 

According to details, a dead body was recovered from Gulbahar area. Police said that the deceased was killed after being subjected to torture.

 

A religious scholar, Qari Ameen was shot dead near Korangi Crossing. Resident of the area nabbed the attacker and handed him over to police. Tension spread in the area after the incident and angry mob blocked the roads by burning tyres.

 

Some unidentified persons shot dead two people in Korangi Industrial Area. The identity of the deceased is not yet known.

 

Gunmen also shot dead a student leader, Painda Khan, in Orangi Town. Two other people also fell victim to target killing in the same locality.

 

Two people were killed in separate firing incidents in Khada Market, Lyari and Kala Pull while a dead body of a woman was recovered from Site area.
