Supreme Court hears Quetta carnage case

A three-judge bench of the Supreme Court is hearing the case.

 

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on Tuesday resumed hearing of suo motu notice of a deadly bombing which claimed 90 lives in Quetta, the provincial capital of restive Balochistan.

 

During case proceeding, the bench directed the Interior Secretary and Defence Secretary to appear before the court immediately.

 

Earlier on Monday, summon notices were issued to Balochistan Advocate General and Attorney General of Pakistan for today’s hearing.
