Intermittent rain continues in different areas
Different parts of the country are in the grip of severe cold wave.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Intermittent light rain continued in different parts of the country including Islamabad and Rawalpindi, metrological department reported on Friday.
It was reported that widespread rain with snowfall over the hills is expected in Northeast Punjab including Gujranwala‚ Rawalpindi‚ Lahore‚ Sahiwal divisions and Kashmir during the next 24 hours.
Scattered rain is also expected in Northeast Balochistan‚ Khyber Pakhtunkhwa‚ Gilgit Baltistan‚ Upper Sindh and Central and South Punjab.
Hailstorm is likely over the plain areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Minimum temperature recorded in Parachina was -9°C followed by -11 °C in Gupis‚ -3 °C in Skardu‚ -2 °C in Astore and Hunza and -1 °C in Chitral and Quetta.
