Ulema killing: Strike in Karachi today

A complete shutter down strike will be observed today in Karachi on the call of religious parties.

 

The religious parties had given the strike call for today against assassination of ulema in the target killing incidents in Karachi.

 

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have also backed the strike call.

 

Meanwhile, the chairman of All Karachi Tajir Ittehad, Atteq Mir, has backed the strike call and said that all business centres will remain closed today while the transporters have announced to keep their vehicles off the roads.

 

On the other hand Shia Ulema Council and Public Private Management Schools Association have also supported the strike call.
