Dual nationality: 13 more Punjab MPAs served notices
After these 13 MPAs, the total number of MPAs served such notices rises to 35.
LAHORE: The MPAs who were Wednesday issued notices include Shehryar Riaz, Zafar Zulqarnain Sahi, Tanvirul Islam, Humaira Awais Arshad,Zeb Zafar, Samiya Amjad, Musarrat Hussain, Razia Joseph, Makhdoom Syed Iftikhar Gillani, Fouzia Behram. Muhammad Saeed Mughal, and Sardar Muhammad Hussain Dogar.
Earlier, Election Commission had issued such notices to 22 members of the Punjab Assembly.
Two members Jamil Ashraf and Tahir Ali Javed had tendered their resignations because of dual nationality but they too have been served notices.
All these members will have to clarify their position to the commission; otherwise their memberships will be cancelled.
