Punjab govt victimizing political opponents: Shujat
PML-Q chief Chaudhry Shujat Hussain says Punjab governments revengeful measures are not acceptable.
LAHORE: President of PML-Q, Senator Ch Shujat Hussain strongly condemned the police raid at the residence of former MPA Riaz Asghar Chaudhry and termed it vindictive act by Punjab government.
In a statement issued here on Monday, Ch Shujat Hussain said that on Tuesday, police force from all police stations of Mandi Bahauddin along with Elite Force suddenly raided the house of his sister and forcibly entered the premises.
He said that the rulers of the Punjab, under great influence of power, were using police for victimization of their political opponents instead of paying attention to control worst ever law and order situation.
He added, “Punjab Government s poisonous steps has proved that they have not discarded the old habit of vengeance but they are not aware that end of vindictive attitudes is always bad”.
