Govt ready for dialogues with Qadri, says PM

PM Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that his government is ready to hold talks with Tahirul Qadri.

 

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief, Altaf Hussain, telephoned Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on early Tuesday morning and discussed political situation in the country arising after the ultimatum given by Tehrik Minhaj-ul-Quran chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri.

 

The MQM chief was of the view that all the problems should be solved through dialogue. He also asked Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri to exhibit patience and restraint and resolve all issues with reconciliatory approach.

 

The Prime Minister assured the MQM chief that his government is ready to hold talks with Tahirul Qadri. He said that all issues can be settled through meaningful dialogues.
