Polio campaign postponed in Peshawar, Mardan
The polio campaign in Peshawar and Mardan has been postponed owing to some technical reasons.
PESHAWAR: The new date of the polio campaign has now been fixed for 14th of January.
The polio campaign in the area was suspended last month after an attack on polio workers. It was decided to hold the campaign on Jan 5th.
However, now again the polio campaign has been postponed till Jan 14 on the grounds of technical reasons.
Meanwhile, the Assistant Commissioner of Peshawar claimed that 0.7 million children below age of 5 would be deprived of polio vaccination.
