Commission on missing persons has disposed off 329 cases
The Commission of Inquiry on Enforced Disappearances disposed off 329 cases since January last year.
ISLAMABAD: The Commission‚ consisting of former senior Judge of Supreme Court Justice Javed Iqbal and Muhammad Sharif Virk is currently investigating 584 other cases.
During last month‚ it held proceedings in Islamabad in which nine missing persons were traced out. They are Muhammad Kamran‚ Muhammad Zakria‚ Muhammad Aslam‚ Naseer-ud-Din‚ Zahid Mehmood Zaidi‚ Pervaiz Hussain‚ Adil-ur-Rehman‚ Nouman Ahmed and Shawkat Ali.
In a statement issued in Islamabad ‚ the Commission has reiterated its determination to make all out efforts to trace the missing persons.
