The SC will review OGRAs recommendations of increase in CNG prices on Monday.

The Supreme Court had declared ‘conditioning of CNG to petrol tariff’ as illegal, in its verdict of October 25, ordering a decrease in its prices, by Rs.30.

CNG station owners, responding to the Supreme Court verdict, had started using various means to obstruct, stop the sale of CNG to public.

Meanwhile following a forensic audit of numerous CNG stations, OGRA has been known to have requested Rs.13 per kilo increase in CNG prices for region1, and Rs12 for region 2.
