OGRA suggests three proposals regarding CNG price

OGRA has completed CNG forensic audit in order submit in the Supreme Court.

 

It has been suggested in the report that CNG price should be increased by Rs 15 per kg.

 

According to sources, the audit report would be moved in the Supreme Court on November 19.

 

While keeping in view the current energy crisis, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has put three recommendations regarding prices of compressed Natural Gas (CNG). The first suggestion says that price of CNG should be remained stable while according to second suggestion it has been said that CNG price should be increased by Rs 15.

 

So far as the third one is concerned, it says that operating cost of CNG should be maintained Rs 6 per kg.

 

The sources concluded that the price of CNG would become Rs 77 per kg with addition of operating cost Rs 6 and margin cost Rs 4
